Mother’s Day: Interview with Fulvia, the cosmetologist who created a dedicated and safe skincare line for women during pregnancy, postpartum, and their new life as mothers.
To celebrate Mother’s Day, we interviewed Fulvia — pharmacist, cosmetologist, and founder of Dermomamma, a skincare line designed to support women through the delicate phases of pregnancy and postpartum. With both technical expertise and a personal touch, Fulvia shares her journey and explains how the idea of creating safe, effective, and mom-focused cosmetics came to life.

Fulvia: pharmacist, cosmetologist, and mother of twins.
“I’m a woman, a mother, and every day also a professional.”
As a mother of twins, Fulvia experiences firsthand the daily challenges of time management, changing skin, and the effort it takes to balance everything — and that’s exactly what makes Dermomamma such an authentic project, closely aligned with the real lives of many women.
Fulvia earned her Pharmacy degree in 2008, continued her education with a Master's in Pharmacovigilance, and in 2017 decided to become a Cosmetologist, obtaining her qualification through a second-level Master's in Cosmetic Product Science.
Her specific interest in cosmetic safety led her to attend specialized courses, laying the foundation for a very personal project: the creation of the Dermomamma line.

Dermomamma: a skincare line designed for women during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and their new life as mothers.
During motherhood — a time marked by deep physical, emotional, and daily transformations — many women wonder which cosmetic products are safe to use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Dermomamma was created precisely to meet this need, reminding us that every change is also an opportunity for care, self-awareness, and empowerment.
"I wanted every product to speak to women — to be safe for both mother and baby, but also effective and enjoyable to use."
Fulvia personally selects high-quality ingredients, formulates with precision and care, and offers a range of products that combine science, safety, naturality, and practicality.

Cosmetitrovo: the portal for scouting cosmetic subcontractors, services, and raw materials
"In the work of a cosmetologist, sourcing raw materials, choosing suppliers, and studying new trends are key steps. I believe Cosmetitrovo is a valuable tool to carry out these tasks quickly and efficiently: it allows for the scouting of cosmetic ingredients, access to technical documents, and direct contact with subcontractors and manufacturers. For the launch of my latest products, thanks to Cosmetitrovo, I connected with a subcontractor who offered me Vegan and Green formulas, and a fruitful collaboration began.
This allowed me to offer my audience of mothers new references developed through a continuous process of listening — shaped by their needs and requests.”
Together with the subcontractor, I developed a face cream with SPF50+, essential for preventing dark spots that can appear during pregnancy and breastfeeding, though also suitable for all women beyond these specific life stages.
The appearance of cellulite, as well as increased sweating and unpleasant odors, are other issues women face during pregnancy and breastfeeding. So, we developed formulas with active ingredients suitable for addressing these concerns — solutions I found both effective and safe, and which I decided to include in the Dermomamma line.
The blog and Instagram page
In addition to the skincare line, Fulvia created the Dermomamma blog and Instagram page — platforms designed to provide reliable, science-based content.
Many expectant mothers turn to the internet, often encountering fragmented and inaccurate information. The blog and Instagram page were created to respond clearly yet authoritatively to their most common concerns.

Care, awareness, and inspiration
Fulvia shares with us: “Dermomamma is a story built on experience, study, and passion, which translates into safe products and honest words. With Dermomamma, I turned my personal journey into a project that speaks to many women, offering them not only practical tools, but also trust.”
Because feeling good in your own skin — at every stage of life — is not a luxury, but a right.
