Tell us about your professional career:

Mine was a destiny already marked as a child as I was practically born surrounded by cosmetics: ours is a family story that has distant roots. Everything started with my father in 1978, and then evolved over the years.

Why did you decide to open a production laboratory?

The choice was almost a natural event and dictated by the strong determination of Antonio, our father. We did in-house bottling (only for our own brand), but with law 1223/2009 on cosmetics everything changed. So we decided to believe in it and start producing on our own account.

How was ALMACOS born?

From the passion for cosmetics, for the market, for the evolution of cosmetics and to continue the family tradition.

Who are your services aimed at?

We are a small artisanal contract manufacturing laboratory and over the years we have specialized in certifiable natural and eco-organic cosmetics. We collaborate closely with certification bodies such as Qcert, AIAB, Cosmos, Ecocert. To date we have a production capacity of about 10,000 pcs per day and a minimum capacity of 50 pcs on ready to go formulas, meaning ready for market launch. Our customers are mainly small, young and dynamic Indie brands, which are always in step with market demands and its evolutions. We naturally also have customers with medium market capacities, but always attentive to formulas and the production process. Our products are "cradled" at every batch, so the quality standard is very high.

What kind of support can you provide to your customers?

We specialize in white cosmetics and cleansing, specifically we create:

FACE PRODUCTS BODY PRODUCTS LIQUID CLEANSING PHYSIOTHERAPY NON-PROFESSIONAL TRICHOLOGY BABY AND MOTHER LINE SUNSCREEN LINE MEN-BARBER LINE SCENTED WATERS, PERFUMES (only for small batches)

We do not create: HAIR DYES, MAKE UP, AEROSOL PRODUCTS, SOLID SOAPS, LIP STICKS with numbers lower than 250 pcs. The minimum production brackets on customized formulas are:

10 Kg for serums and oils and cold productions 25 Kg for emulsions and hot products

What are your pluses?

Crafstmanship is our strength, the quality of finished products, the research of raw materials. We have a strong expertise in sunscreen lines, having more than 30 active formulas, and skin care.
